Job Description

  • Review specifications submitted by consultant, add any missing items and discuss with project head to ensure it is in line with project requirements
  • Review bill of quantities, value add where ever possible and make alterations
  • Review all the conditions of contracts, and ensure any project specific changes if required 
  • Invite bids from short listed contractors, collect the same, open and document the opening bids, prepare a comparative statement 
  • Evaluate commercials and conditions given by various contractors, analyse those, evaluate financial impact, and add into the comparative statement 
  • Organise and lead tender negotiations, discuss and make the contractor withdraw any unwarranted conditions stated in the offers, and bring all on par 
  • Lead further two or sometimes more rounds of negotiations until closure and recommend selection of appropriate contractor/s 
  • Coordinate with site and ensure on time completion.
  • Follow up for material & ensure delivery of material on time.
  • Ensure proper filing of all relevant documentation for any future reference or audit later at any stage.
  • Evaluation of Rate analysis / Non tendered items
  • Process of orders / amendments in ERP
  • Other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager

 

  • Preparation & Reviewing of cost estimates for Civil,  HVAC, Electrical, Firefighting, Plumbing, Lifts, DG sets, Fire detection & L.V works, Façade, and allied MEP services works, discussing the same with management and getting approved.
  • Verify BOQ from consultants and prepare Tender Document, assist in selection of sub-contractors for all packages, vendor evaluation, float and evaluate tender, Negotiating and recommending on finalization of contracts.  
  • Preparation and Finalization of Rate analysis for allied on Basis of CPWD, DSR, Market Rates.
  • Standardization of BOQ (Preambles, item specifications, cost code and Rate basis) for all services works.
  • Conducting Technical & Commercial Negotiation Meeting with all Contractors.
  • Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating contract terms, preparation and monitoring of Contract.
  • Preparing Letter of Award and sending to the successful contractor.
  • Sending PO and WO to successful contractors.
  • Sending Regret Letter to the unsuccessful contractors.
  • Co- Ordinate with Consultants and Management on various design issues.
  • Working knowledge of SAP MM module or ERP Contract / Procurement module
  • To carry out any other responsibilities assigned by your Reporting Manager.
